Jeep® Cherokee / Comanche Transfer Case Linkage Kit

After a very tough 2024, we are back in a position to produce our original linkage kits for the Cherokee XJ (231 and 242) and a limited number of kits for the Grand Cherokee ZJ (4.0 auto + 242 only). These sales are currently Pre-Order, with shipping expected 1st week of March 2025. YJ kits will not be available initially.

With the increases in materials, insurance, and, credit costs, ADW is not in a place to be able to take on the required debt, so this will be done as a pre-order.

Each pre-order kit will come with a new, limited edition ADW Linkage badge and an XJ/MJ paper sticker pack. And in order to keep production running, part of our fundraising efforts will go towards purchase and install of an American icon.. a No.2 W&S Turret Lathe, the same machine that created linkage parts for us in the past. We have other plans too, for you AW4 XJ and TJ guys who want a new shifter…

We were sick of this happening to us on our XJ / MJ, so we hashed out a kit* that would junk the old "Z" linkage / bell crank / lever from the transfer case, and simply bolt on, creating a stronger and more consistent shifting experience.

This is everything to replace the crummy factory operation.NO DRILLING OR WELDING REQUIRED!

Tested to fit factory Cherokee XJ AW4, AX15 NV3500, NP231, and NP242 combos. Has been used on BA10 transfer cases, but can be harder to adjust. V6 applications may require different hardware, contact us first.
*Can be modified for 241 Rubicon t-case transplant. (see photos)

Not sure which version you need? If your Xj has “Full Time” and “Part time” selections on your shift lever, you need the 242 kit.
